With their highly refined sensitivity, the Manoncourt family have created and nurtured a “Figeac culture”. Hospitality has been part of the estate’s DNA since the 1960s. This goes beyond simple matters of taste, because Figeac has not just a body but also a soul. The spiritual life that prevails here is fostered by the ecosystem and the Figeac team. Nourished by history and highly precise skills, each member has the feeling of writing the story of each vintage in a great Book of Hours, driven by a constant quest for excellence in which pride and humility go hand in hand. A true art of living, it conveys a humanism of the vine unique in Saint-Émilion at the same time as being key to soaking up the spirit of the place.
Every visitor is welcomed as a friend, roaming the vineyard, the new winery and vat-house as they will and can, rambling through history, asking a myriad questions. The tour is above all time shared, culminating in a guided tasting of one or two wines. A visit to Château-Figeac may well turn out to be an awakening…

At Château-Figeac, we use a combination of tried and trusted measures to protect our wines, from the most straightforward, such as engraved bottles, to the most sophisticated, undetectable to the untutored eye.

From the 2015 vintage onward, you can authenticate the wines yourself. We have stepped up measures to prevent the counterfeiting of our bottles by printing forgery-proof numbers and holographic images on the back labels.

There are two options for authenticating a bottle:
• Option 1: scan the QR code with your smartphone. This will automatically link to a form on the website, with your bottle’s ID number already filled in. All you have to do then is add the numbers and letters of the hologram.
• Option 2: click on the “Identification” tab on this page and enter the ID number. All you have to do then is add the numbers and letters of the hologram.
When your bottle has been authenticated, you can also access additional information about the vintage and the estate.

Each time you open a bottle of Château-Figeac is a special occasion and some like to celebrate it with a large format.
All Château-Figeac wines are sold en primeur to Bordeaux negociants. You can ask for bottles in specific formats when buying en primeur, whether large formats like a magnum (1.5 litres) or very large formats like the 6-litre Impériale or 18-litre Melchior, or 37.5cl half-bottles.
This option is available only for purchases en primeur. Please consult your professional supplier, who will pass on your request to us.

All Château-Figeac wines are sold en primeur to a network of professionals who then offer them all over the world. No sales are made directly from the estate.
You can buy our wines from the best wine merchants and find them on the wine list of the finest restaurants.
Some distributors may offer you our wines en primeur and allow you to reserve them even before they are bottled, ensuring that you don’t miss out on a vintage.
We will be happy to provide you promptly with addresses where you can find our wines for purchase or en primeur.
