Blending session
The technical team has been busy blending the 2023 vintage. During the blending sessions, each team member tastes and rigorously assesses the lots of wine to determine the blend of Château-Figeac and Petit-Figeac. Over the course of several months, different blends are proposed, evaluated, and refined in the search of the perfect balance that is a hallmark of our wines.
“Every year, it’s a matter of creating a composition, a painting, in short, of creating the wine of a vintage from what nature gives us. We do this as a team, with no preconceived ideas about this or that parcel, using our detailed knowledge of the terroir and the history of the vintages, guided by our immense respect for the ‘Figeac style’.”
